    Hi there Lyn,

Could you advise me; what is the appropriate subforum for reporting forum technical issues ? (or usage difficulties) ?

    Warm regards,
    Nic.

Pretty much anywhere and a moderator will reply as soon as possible.

I am a moderator so please advise - What issues are you having with the site?

    Hi there Gary,
Weeeeell.... I can browse the forum with no problems, but whenever I attempt to post in a thread - or respond to an existing one - I am informed that my IP address has changed and am asked to log in again (and my post is not saved).

Now, we've just changed broadband provider... so lets see if THIS post attempt works....

    Yaaaaaay !!
Our previous broadband system was part of a routed network, with dynamically switched backbones (e.g. alternating between BT, TalkTalk, Virgin, and - for all I know - Turkmenistan Broadband Corporation) - as network bandwidth dictated. Hence I might sign in routed through BT, create a post via TalkTalk, and issue the "save" command via Virgin Media. All with different IP addresses.

Now that we're on BT, the problem seems to have gone away.

    Hi Nic
Glad you got it figured out. Please join and get the best out the site.

FYI. All guest's posts do not get posted immediately as they must be approved by admin or by a moderator before they will be visible. That may also be a reason why you were not seeing your posts. Once a post is approved and your next post in the same thread it does not need to be approved.

    Regards
    Gary
