    Acrison, Inc.

    Booth 2040

Acrison will feature the new “compact” Model 407 Series of weigh feeders as well as the innovative Model 270 Series “In-Line” weigh feeding modules. In addition, Acrison will display its Model 170 Series Feeders, the first range of feeders specifically designed for complete and total product clean out. Also featured and demonstrated are Acrison’s “leading-edge” Controls and Control’s Systems and Serial interfacing and networking capabilities.

    MODEL 407 SERIES WEIGH FEEDERS

Acrison’s new Model 407 Series has been designed to meet user demand for reliable, robust high performance dry solids weigh feeding equipment in a space saving, low-profile package. While economically priced, the new 407 series retains the traditional strengths inherent to Acrison Weighing Systems, delivering superior operational performance, the lowest maintenance requirements and unexcelled reliability and longevity. Model 407 Series feeders are capable of accurately feeding a wide range of dry solids materials for the most demanding of applications.

MODEL 270 SERIES “In-Line” WEIGH FEEDER MODULES

The Model 270 Weigh Feeder has been specifically designed to accurately and reliably meter polyethylene and polypropylene granules and powders in an “in-line” vertical configuration at feed rates between 50 and 7,000 cubic feet per hour. With its compact design, small foot print and minimal height requirements, the Model 270 requires far less “installed space” than conventional flow meters, weigh belts or weight-loss type weigh feeders having similar throughput capacities. And, the Model 270 is designed with only one moving part that continuously weighs and discharges dry solids materials in a completely dust-tight assembly. The unit is a zero reference weigh feeder utilizing the mechanically counterbalanced Acrison non-load cell based weighing system for superior weight sensing and reliable long-term operation.

    MODEL 170 SERIES FEEDERS

Acrison’s Model 170 Series is the first range of feeders specifically designed for complete and total product clean out. Ideally suited for those applications where rapid product changeover is a requirement and where near-zero downtime is critical, the Model 170 Series are available in five different model sizes with a feed range from 0.0012 to 270 cubic feet per hour. These all-steel industrial duty feeders will easily and accurately handle an exceptionally broad variety of dry solid materials without any need for mechanical changes whatsoever. In addition these feeders will self-empty and are the only one’s availible with a unique discharge port to enable rapid emptying of product when required.

Availible as a Volumetric Feeder or as the Metering Device of certain model “weight-loss” feeders, the Model 170 Series offers a broad choice of options including quick-disconnect or sanitary construction and swing-out or tilt-back hoppers for certain models.

    ACRISON CONTROLS AND CONTROL SYSTEMS

Acrison offers an almost unlimited choice for interfacing its controls and control systems with a variety of equipment. Today, however, serial communication and more specifically networking, has become the preferred medium for interfacing Acrison controllers with most user control systems. Today, Acrison can provide support for a broad variety of interfacing options that encompass both hard-wired and wireless configurations including standard serial connections, 10 MBaud Ethernet connections, Profibus DP connections, Bluetooth (wireless) connections, Wireless Ethernet connections (802.11b) and Dialup connections.
