    Dryer waste heat recovery

The ProcessTherm heat recovery system is an air-to-water heat exchanger specifically designed for hot air dryer applications. A typical system will reclaim up to 70% of the heat energy lost in the exhaust air from a (spray)drying operation. This energy savings will generally reduce the annual fuel cost of an average plant by 20 to 30%. Many heat recovery systems fail due to various fouling factors found in the exhaust air stream which accumulate on the heat exchanger surface and reduce its efficiency. The Dimple-t heat exchanger utilizes smooth stainless steel plates for its heat exchange surface which will not trap particulates and moisture that is commonly found in exhaust air streams. When particulates or other films do accumulate on the plates the Dimple-t heat recovery unit is easily CIP cleaned from a central system.

    · Adapts easily to existing dryers
    · SS304L ( 1.4306 ) is standard
    · Modular design, easy scale-up to any size spray dryer
    · Extremely low air side pressure drops
    · Easy to inspect with access from top
    · All welded design
    · CIP cleaning option

Furthermore Dimple-t is the agent of IPT's Siletta solids discharge feeder. With this feeder it is possible to create mass flow from solids out of a silo or heat exchanger.
