    POWTECH 2004: Schäffer-Verfahrenstechnik

    Stand 9-406

Sealed Two- and Three-Way Diverter Valves

Routing bulk materials without residue from one inlet to two or three different outlets in a dust-tight manner can't be that difficult, surely? That's the general consensus. But what about extremely fine powders in the µm range that flood through fine cracks? And what about the chemical products that must be protected against adulteration from residues of previous batches, and what happens when pressures are brought into play?

The new DN 100 – DN 400 two- and three-way diverter valves are the solution!

A flexible tube connected to the inlet pipe is positioned at the desired outlet 1, 2 or 3, the dust-tight connection is effected by means of an inflatable seal, and the path is clear for transporting the bulk material.

These new and inexpensive diverter valves are smooth and without dead zones in the area where the bulk material passes through, and have only very few wear parts that can be exchanged without having to remove the unit from the entire system. The valves are pressure-tight to + 0.4 bar. Special designs are available on request.

Visit us at the POWTECH trade fair from 16th to 18th March 2004 in Nuremberg Hall 9, Stand 406 and take a look at our innovations.
