I am searching for research involving the comparison
of frequency and amplitude in densification of
pelleted carbon black in shipping containers such
as FIBCs........am particularly interested in the
time vs. delta Volume relationship for each....

We are engaged on research in the field of
compactibility of bulk materials. We use an
    electrodynamic shaker for this purpose.
This is free programmable in wide boundaries
for vibrations and shocks. We can carry out
    experiments for you.

Densification of carbon black using vibration
is a complete waste of time.
Babcock in Germany make a machine for this
purpose that uses vacuum through two rolls.
You double the density at least.
It is called a VACUPRESS and is made in 5 sizes
    for many years.

Saying compaction of carbon black through vibration is a waste of time is a very strong statement. We manufacture both vibrating tables and roll compactors and depending on the requirements vibration may be the answer for some applications. Especially when you compare the costs.
