Thread: Modified Low-Velocity (MLV) System

  1. Modified Low-Velocity (MLV) System

    Dears,

Is there any person who has experienced "Modified Low-Velocity (MLV) System" in ducting of dust collectors?
I have seen this system only in the "Dust Control Handbook" in two pages as attached. However I couldn't find any other references or text in the internet.

  2. horizontal duct

This system (MLV) claims that it could use horizontal duct with air velocity about 10m/s!
However I don't know if it is experienced in any plant without problem.
