    POWTECH 2004: OCS Checkweighers

    Stand 10-205

OCS – Competence in Dynamic Weighing
Compact and reliable through real integration

As a special eyecatcher OCS will present the ultra fast checkweigher HC-MDi with integrated metal detector. This space-saving combination makes complete product control possible in compliance with given weight limits and any metal contamination.

The large throughput up to max. 400 pieces per minute and an enormous high precision weighing clarifies this efficiency impressive. An extraordinary compact design, the central operation with logging, product statistics and comprehensive ISOfunctions from only one place, fulfil highest requirements of a modern industrial production in the industries food, snack, confectionery, pharmaceutical and chemical.

    Precision weighing and simplest operating
The simple menu-guided operation in the HC continues with the HC-Ex. The
automatic checkweigher HC-Ex has been developed especially for direct use in explosion-endangered atmospheres of Zone 1 and Zone 2 (II 2 G IIB T4). Apart from the antistatic transport system, the weigher consists of an intelligent electrodynamic weigh cell, which is designed as a „weighing module“ according to WELMEC guide 2.6, and of a control unit executing in the ignition protection mode of “pressurized apparatus” (EEx p). Thus all components of the weigher can be installed in an immediately explosion-endangered area.

    Combinable variety for practical solutions
The checkweigher EC-M-VA stainless steel unit, which offers special protection, is specially developed for use in areas with a splash water hazard (in accordance with IP65) and fulfil the requirements of this branch. This checkweigher is based on the EC-M with a throughput up to 230 pieces per minute. The conveyor system and the drives are designed and configured for medium-wet applications. The solid stainless steel base frame permits high weighing precision at medium and high belt speeds i.e. flow-rates and in combination with the control can also be filling systems controlled and regulated. A sophisticated and wide spectrum of sorting devices (pusher, blast nozzle, flap belt, sort program switches etc.) is available to discharge products with incorrect weight reliably. A large selection of options and the particularly handling system permit a flexible and practical system configuration.

OCS Checkweighers Ltd. presents itself under the slogan „Stronger“ at PowTech 2004 and we are pleased to welcome you at our stand.
