    Pro-C-epT “Great in Small Scale”, supplies a complementary equipment range used for ‘small scale’ (re)-formulation development, scale-up, clinical trials, drying kinetic studies and Nutsche filter drying of powders, granules, pellets, creams, ointments and gels in the Pharmaceutical and Fine Chemical Industries.

    The Pro-C-epT range covers many processes; granulation (high shear wet/melt & fluidbed), pelletisation (high shear wet/melt), coating (fluidbed wet/melt), drying (spraydrying, fluidbed, microwave, vacuum and Nutsche filter) and semi-solid mixing (ultra-turax homogenisation and gelification).

    The very strong market penetration of the Pro-C-epT equipment could be realised by the continuous understanding of the developer’s needs which are translated in high performance development tools, based on an in-house engineering, manufacturing, qualification and after sales support.


    PRODUCTS & SERVICES DESCRIPTION

    * The HPFD-range is used for fundamental formulation development and clinical trials. There is a wide variety in processes and batch capacities from 40 till 1.000 gram. All systems have PC/PLC control with a 21CFRPart11 compliant software, supplying batch reports in Excel.

    * The ForMate-range is used for (re)-formulation development, application and educational purposes. In comparison with the HPFD-range, the 4M8-range is more standard, less modular, so offered at a lower price level. The batch capacity varies from 100 till 700 gram. Both manual and PC controlled system with batch reporting are available.

    * The DK-range is used for vacuum, microwave and Nutsche filter drying kinetic studies of fine chemicals. The batch capacities varies from 100 till 300 gram. Both systems have PC/PLC control with a 21CFRPart11 compliant software, supplying batch reports in Excel. All Process Critical Parameters are controlled and measured. The different drying phases (steady-state, falling rate, diffusive) and the “critical free solvent content” can be determined.
