    POWTECH 2004: F.P.S. Food & Pharma Systems

    Stand 11-206

    JETMILL SERIES PRESENTATION

F.P.S. Food and Pharma Systems will present to the international market during POWTECH/Technopharm 2004 its complete micronisation equipment line. It will be possible to find Laboratory (LaboMill), Pilot (PilotMill-5) and Production (ProMill-8) units, integrated in containment systems (laminar flow booth and isolator) to show the complete flexibility guaranteed by the equipments.

Relying on more than 15 years experience in the field, F.P.S. developed the new jetmill line assuring better guarantees as regards:

Scalability; being now possible to have a laboratory jetmill, two pilot units, three and more production systems, pharmaceutical and chemical industries may rely on a full support from early development stages to production, reducing time to market for new products.

Cleanability: each jetmill is designed and manufactured according best available practices, reducing sharp surfaces and angles, with special geometry to eliminate dead areas where product tends to rest during the process. Special care is taken for all product contact parts, assuring surface roughness far less than 0.25microns.

Productivity: the optimised geometry and configuration assures a better process, eliminating blow back situations and increasing overall yelds. The knowledge of micronisation process allows F.P.S. to define and set the equipment according real needs, with possibility of custom defined settings and components.

Energy savings: the adopted geometry for the milling chamber and the nozzles reduces the gas consumption.

Starting from the idea that each situation has its own solution, hence requiring custom defined equipments, F.P.S. developed its jetmill line for the perfect integration with different devices and machines, to better satisfy end user needs in terms of process needs, quality targets, budget limits, time to market.

The micronisation equipment is available in both pharmaceutical and industrial configuration, with different options and devices that comprehend: CIP, SIP, cryogenic, full automated, PLC controlled, gravimetric feeding, in line PSD verification, ATEX rated and explosion proof configurations.

In the F.P.S. test centre in Italy it is possible to perform technical trials, both in standard and cryogenic configuration, for equipments performance evaluation; if required tests may be executed in a ISO8 classified area.
