    POWTECH 2004: Carrier Vibrating Equipment

    Stand 7-417

Carrier Vibrating Equipment (KY, USA) and Carrier Europe (Belgium), the world’s leading manufacturers of vibrating fluid bed processors, introduce an exciting new innovation in the fluid bed processing industry : the Duo-Phase Drive.

Carrier has designed and fabricated its Model Q vibrating fluid bed dryers and coolers for a wide range of industries since 1950. Much of Carrier’s success is due to its dependable three-shaft drive technology, which permits adjustment of both the amplitude and vibration angle to provide precise control of product retention time to optimize processing efficiency. It has been the industry’s best drive for over forty years.

Now, Carrier has developed the Duo-Phase Drive for very high capacity applications, which would otherwise require multiple machines. The Duo-Phase Drive retains all of the benefits of the three-shaft drive and can be used on fluid beds up to 8’ wide by 50’ long. Other benefits include reduced stack-up height, fewer product transfers, reduced installation cost, and reduced capital cost.
