POWTECH 2004 - Preview: Rotex Europe Ltd.

New Minerals Screener Revealed at POWTECH 2004

Leading bulk handling equipment manufacturer ROTEX EUROPE will be revealing its new Minerals Screener at the POWTECH exhibition in Nuremberg in March.

The new ROTEX Minerals Separator provides unsurpassed screening performance when large volumes and high efficiencies are required, operating effectively at temperatures up to 200 °C.

Also on display will be the ROTEX screener and Plastic Pellet screener, as well as an impressive selection of genuine spare parts.

Managing Director Martin Hawley said: “Germany remains one of the key markets for our products and our German agent STRIKO will be at the exhibition alongside our technical staff to discuss visitors’ screening, feeding and conveying requirements. POWTECH is a major event for us as it gives us the opportunity to demonstrate our new products and innovations to an international range of visitors from across the bulk industries.”

Following the tremendous amount of interest ROTEX received when it was first revealed last year, the Plastic Pellet screener will again be on display. The machine, which features a unique horizontal gyratory motion and a double screening option for increased accuracy, provides a cost-effective solution to screening smaller quantities of product. The performance of the Plastic Pellet screener has already been proven across Europe, with the Company being awarded various contracts for new or hire machines.

In addition to its core business of providing screening, feeding and conveying equipment, ROTEX EUROPE also offers a full range of genuine spare parts and high quality after sales service to ensure optimum efficiency of the machines. This includes connecting sleeves, mesh cleaning balls, compensating clamps, screencloths and new and reconditioned drive heads.

As a new initiative to help its customers meet the latest health and safety requirements applicable in certain industries, such as the bulk food industries, ROTEX EUROPE also offers a conversion programme to its customers running Rotex GP screeners. This service consists of replacing the top cover, screen frames and bottom pan of the Rotex screener by aluminium, mild steel or stainless steel parts, enhancing the lifespan of the product. Typical markets suitable for upgrades of the ROTEX screener include sugar, rubber, meat meal, pet food and rice.

ROTEX is a global provider of process equipment with companies in US, UK and Belgium, for a number of industries including bulk food, animal/pet food, chemicals, mining, quarrying, fertilizer, glass, plastic, recycling, rubber, salt, sugar and wood.

ROTEX's main products include ROTEX gyratory screeners, MEGATEX high capacity screeners, PLASTIC PELLETS screeners, MINERALS separators, GRADEX particle size analysers, SFH electromagnetic vibrating feeders, DIRECT DRIVE screens, feeders and conveyors.
