    Bucket Elevator

i want to ask about the standaritation of dimensi bucket and what is material for bucketthat handling a sugar

  2. There are standard types of buckets (i.e. widely used various types / styles of buckets) in industry. These buckets are popularly known as buckets for centrifugal type elevators, continuous elevators, cement mill elevators, super capacity type elevator, perfect discharge elevator, grain elevator and so on. The bucket shape is related to bucket velocity, sprocket / pulley radius, consequent centrifugal force and final trajectory of the material. I suggest you to refer to the published information by elevator manufacturers and buckets manufacturers, wherein you will find this information.
Then, there are also various national standards, for example, DIN 15232, 15233, 15236, 15237 etc. There shall be similar standards in UK, USA, France etc.

Regarding sugar handling; it seems centrifugal / perfect discharge type elevators could be a choice, subject specific characteristics of your sugar. The buckets of stainless steel will be suitable as it will not contaminate food item.

    Elevator buckets for sugar

    Dear Sir

Further to the previous reply, we confirm that there are many styles and sizes of elevator buckets suitable to handle sugar. Not only do we recommend stainless steel, but we offer food quality plastic buckets which are cheaper and lighter.

We also recommend you use a food quality white belt and stainless steel bolts.

Please let us have details of the tonnes per hour you want to move and we can make recommendations for buckets, bolts and belts.

    Best regards

Use non sparkling materials ansd take care of antistatic electric loads etc.
With our experience we are able to quot a save and competetive bucker elevator, based on experience in the dutch sugar industry.
