I am new to this 'field' and I am looking for general information on large stacker/reclaimers and shiploaders used at large deep-water ports primarily as used for coal-handling.

Can anyone recommend websites or other references for general product descriptions, major manufacturers, directory of ports with equipment in operation, secondary market (i.e. used-equipment market for these products)?

Respond to this forum or e-mail to Pgile@aol.com, or fax to 1 740 383-5227.

    Dear Peter,

I recommend our own products, i.e.
The "Best of bulk solids handling" books
    (see list of books below)

The Electronic Library on this website
(where you find virtually hundreds of original articles full of technical details) and

The Electronic Directory on this website
(which lists all major manufacturing commpanies
worldwide. You will not find a better Directory
    anywhere).

Here the book titles of interest to you:

I will gladly send you, or anybody else, the complete contents of these books, but you can also
look this up in the Electronic Library by searching for H/86 or B/2000, for example.

There are no technical journals available worldwide
